EDISON — Statement from Middlesex County Democratic Chairman Kevin P. McCabe and Vice-Chair Beatrice Moskowitz on the retirement of County Clerk Elaine Flynn:
“Elaine Flynn has been a trailblazer as both County Clerk and as a leader in Middlesex County. The longest-serving county clerk in history, she has dedicated herself to the residents of this county and this state throughout her life – as both a county clerk for twenty-five years and as a teacher who influenced a generation of students. She has expanded voting opportunities and modernized her department in ways that will leave a legacy for many years after her departure.
“We look forward to working with her throughout the end of the year and look forward to her continued civic participation for many years to come.”
