Edison – Chairman Kevin McCabe issued the following statement tonight on the results of the 2018 election:
“I would like to congratulate Senator Menendez, Congressman Frank Pallone, Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman, and our county and local candidates on the results of this year’s election. Middlesex County saw a historic turnout this year, with a higher turnout than in previous midterm elections and last year’s gubernatorial election. To all the members of our organization who organized, drove voters to the polls, knocked on doors and made telephone calls, your efforts made a historic difference. To all the candidates who had the courage to place their names on the ballot, you have made a difference in your communities and for your neighbors. And to the voters who made their voices heard, thank you for sending a strong message that we need a new path for our nation.”
