Freeholder Deputy Director Bellante Leaving Freeholder Board After 8 Years of Dedicated Service

Feb 3, 2017

At last night’s meeting of the Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders, Deputy Director Carol Bellante announced that she would be resigning after 8 years of dedicated service.

Freeholder Bellante has been an outstanding leader in the County for 40 years. She devoted her time to advocating for the improved provision of services for senior citizens, and for the expansion and development of recreational facilities in Middlesex County.

She played an instrumental role in the Open Space Preservation Programs in which the County’s efforts to complete and expand the Middlesex County Greenway were successful. On a personal note, she has dedicated her entire career to bettering the lives of working families through the labor movement.

The Middlesex County Democratic Organization recognizes Freeholder Bellante’s unconditional dedication and hard work as Freeholder Deputy Director and wishes her the best.

Sincerely,

Kevin P. McCabe

Chairman
