MEET KIRAN DESAI
Kiran is running for Township Council in Old Bridge’s 3rd Ward because he believes it is important to give back to his community. He has lived in Old Bridge for over 40 years, and opened his own business in 1990. Kiran is an accountant who has helped countless number of seniors in town.Â
He has served the people of Old Bridge in multiple capacity since moving into town. He was the Chairman of the Old Bridge Zoning Board from 2003 through 2010, a former Commissioner on the Old Bridge Municipal Utility Authority from 2006 through 2012, and served on the Old Bridge Planning Board in 2011.Â
As an Ellis Island Medal of Honor inductee and pioneer in the Indian American Community of New Jersey, Kiran is proud of his heritage and giving back to the larger Old Bridge community. He has founded and lead multiple cultural, religious, and philanthropic non-profit organizations including the Indian Cultural Association of Central Jersey, Chh Gaam Patidar Samaj of North American and PMVS Vraj Temple.Â
Kiran and his wife have raised three children in town and continue to volunteer.Â

VOTING BY MAIL
The County Clerk’s Office will begin mailing vote by mail ballots to voters on the permanent vote by mail list on Saturday, September 18.Â
Remember to use black ink when filling in the circles for the entire Column A Democratic Team when completing your ballot!
Don’t forget to sign your name on the designated line on the yellow envelope before you return it!
Ballots must be postmarked by November 2nd and received by the Board of Elections by November 8th in order to be accepted. No postage is necessary!
You can also return your ballot at the drop box located at Old Bridge Township Municipal Complex (1 Old Bridge Plaza). Drop box is located on the sidewalk nearest the curb in front of the municipal building.Â
Make sure to drop off your ballot in a dropbox before 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 2nd!
IN-PERSON EARLY VOTING (OCT 23 – OCT 31)
For the first time in New Jersey’s history, registered voters in New Jersey have the ability to vote in-person for nine (9) days prior to Election Day.
In- person early voting begins on Saturday, October 23, and goes through Sunday, October 31. Middlesex County will have 10 in-person early vote locations throughout the county open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturdays, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.Â

Voters can go to any early voting locations listed above, regardless if the location is in their town, to vote in person between Saturday, October 23 and Sunday, October 31.
Voters who are on the permanent vote by mail list will need to vote provisionally if they try to go vote in-person, just like they would on Election Day.
VOTING ON ELECTION DAY
Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 2.

REMEMBER: You cannot bring your vote by mail ballot to your polling location. Drop it off in a drop box anywhere in Middlesex County before the polls close on Election Day!
