Dear Municipal Chair and Vice Chair,

Congratulations on another successful Municipal Reorganization, and on being elected by your local County Committee Members. As a former Municipal Chair, I know firsthand just how hard your job is — especially in this political climate.

We are living in unprecedented times and our communities are more polarized now than ever before. This is why the work we have ahead of us is so important. I am proud of everything we have accomplished together: our County Commissioners and constitutional officers reflect the best of what Middlesex County has to offer, they are as diverse as our communities, and they have put Middlesex County on the path to economic growth, even throughout a pandemic. With your help, we have ensured our county’s ability to prioritize innovation without negatively impacting our quality of life.

Middlesex County can be proud to say that we were part of the only legislative race to have picked up a seat in two states last year when we elected Andrew Zwicker to the NJ State Senate. We also re-elected our entire Democratic legislative delegation, elected Democratic mayors in Edison and Monroe, and protected our municipal races against the 2021 red wave. None of this would have been possible without our county committee and local municipal organizations’ work and support.

Vice Chair Moskowitz and I are proud of what we’ve accomplished together, but we know there is so much more to do. I look forward to working with you and your local County Committee Members as we work together to continue to elect Democrats this November.Â
